GP JOULE opens its Hanover trade fair stand as a meeting point and presentation platform for the renewable energy industry of Schleswig-Holstein

Hanover/Reußenköge – GP JOULE, the pioneer of 100% renewable energy supply headquartered in North Frisia, has set up an official meeting place with its stand at Hannover Messe for regional drivers of the regenerative energy and green hydrogen industry from Schleswig-Holstein. This is highlighted by a partial replica of a hydrogen train in the state colours of the northernmost German state at stand K50 in hall 27. The watt_2.0 Renewable Energies Trade Association and The Bay Areas Society are among the organisers who will be using this platform at Europe’s largest industrial trade fair from 23 to 27 April 2018. Minister President Daniel Günther is expected on the opening day.

“With a large amount of low-priced wind and solar power as well as many dedicated, innovative companies, Schleswig-Holstein offers the ideal prerequisites for achieving sustainable success far beyond its borders. Our state can proudly and self-confidently present its expertise in the area of renewable energies. We definitely want to use internationally significant platforms with good location marketing such as Hannover Messe, which puts our great asset of renewable energies into the limelight”, explains Ove Petersen, co-founder and Managing Director of GP GOULE as well as Chairman of the watt_2.0 Trade Association about his motivation for giving Schleswig-Holstein presentation space at this stand. “Green hydrogen is the product of the future for Schleswig-Holstein. That’s why it is important to position Schleswig-Holstein here at Hannover Messe with an attention-grabbing stand. The symbol for the successful breakthrough of the green hydrogen industry in the state is the hydrogen train section replica as it breaks through the wall of our 170 square meter stand.”

Mai-Inken Knackfuß, who will present the entire range offered by the members of the Renewable Energy Industry Trade Association from Schleswig-Holstein as its Managing Director, sees the trade fair stand as a great opportunity: “For Schleswig-Holstein, developing innovative solutions in the area of renewable power generation and utilisation, represents a whole series of unique opportunities. The climate and environment friendly technologies, sustainable concepts and products for which the demand will only continue to increase rapidly in the future worldwide, are often developed to market-maturity by many highly dedicated small and medium-size companies in the North. To state an example: more than 80 companies in this industry are members of watt_2.0” The Schleswig-Holstein Meeting Point is the place to go at Hanover Messe 2018 for experiencing the lively network and the activities of the players. “We are looking forward to having interesting talks and appointments in the “train” as well as lots of good communication for representing our state as the germ cell of the renewable energy industry.”
