Power2Mobility

The very small GPS logger - shown by Torben Jöns, Head of Marketing & Sales at GP JOULE CONNECT – is the digital core component for the e-fleet analysis by GP JOULE CONNECT, that determines the individual mobility requirements of the future e-fleet owners bases on real-live driving situations.

Munich/Reußenköge – At Power2Drive Europe from 15 to 17 May 2019 (stand C3.214), GP JOULE CONNECT provides analytically sound answers on how to optimally switch over to an e-fleet, establish attractive e-sharing/e-pooling systems for town districts or the risk-free introduction of e-mobility in local communities. Charging infrastructures, vehicle models and even all-inclusive Power2Mobility concepts can be tailored right from the start to precisely match individual requirements. Fleet operators profit from fully automated GPS data analysis, something which is still completely unique in the market, while local communities, and the property and housing sectors benefit from specific e-mobility analyses.

E-fleet analysis by GP JOULE CONNECT in cooperation with TÜV Austria determines the individual mobility requirements of future e-fleet owners. Data is collected from real-life driving situations using portable GPS loggers transported in service vehicles. The data is then compared and enriched with actual e-car ranges determined by TÜV-Austria as well as aggregated data from all public rapid charging stations. This means that the electric coverage of customers’ mobility requirements is determined right from the start in terms of routes, ranges and times in a practical way. This then makes it possible to issue targeted and manufacturer-independent recommendations relating not only to charging infrastructure requirements and their cost-effectiveness but also to CO2 savings. Similarly, GP JOULE CONNECT points out possibilities of decentralised energy generation, including the use of storage facilities to optimise overall costs. Such e-fleet analyses are available from a price of 1,500 euros. Naturally, upon request, GP JOULE CONNECT can also supply, install and operate all the necessary components.

GP JOULE CONNECT is also planning the electrification of town districts with optimum e-mobility on the basis of relevant analyses. And it is not just the case in the far north with the innovative residential building project ‘Dünenpark List’ on Sylt – the company from North Frisia is also involved in the ‘Pioneer Park Hanau’ in Hesse, where it is planning a forward-looking e-mobility project with more than 200 charging points (AC/DC) and several mobility stations for e-cars, e-bikes and e-scooters, plus a mobility hub and ultra-fast charger – all controlled by an overriding charge, load and power management system. The property and housing sector is also set to profit from the unique all-inclusive ‘Minol Drive powered by GP JOULE CONNECT’ solution. Minol is the leading service provider for the digitisation in the real estate sector, and with ‘Minol Drive powered by GP JOULE CONNECT’, it offers consultancy and planning services along with the installation and operation of innovative e-mobility offers for the housing industry.

As part of the GP JOULE group, pioneers in practical sector integration projects, CONNECT can provide its customers with added value on the basis of complementary renewable energy systems. The ability to connect generators and consumers to the system, the option of individual charging speeds, and the overriding management system serve to optimise the network connection and reduce the cost of each charge process without forfeiting user convenience. This means that both general mains access and market access for fleet charging infrastructures are easily possible, for instance with local systems and back-end control. And as an expert in integrated renewable energy projects, GP JOULE is able to overcome the considerable challenges presented by distribution network operators (for example feed-in management) and operators of transmission networks (for instance frequency stability).
