A milestone for housing construction and for GP JOULE. Pioneer Park Hanau is an innovative concept by DSK|BIG Group for creating sustainable affordable housing. Around 1,600 residential units will be built on the 50-hectare site of the former Pioneer barracks by 2024. In future, up to 5,000 people will be able to move into single-family, semi-detached and terraced houses, new types of chain bungalows and city villas as well as multi-storey flats. Phase 1 - Charging infrastructure concept
The DSK|BIG Group commissioned GP JOULE in 2019 with planning and implementing electric mobility for all residential units. The aim is to provide the charging infrastructure to promote the use of electric vehicles. At least 25 % of the approx.
4.000 private parking spaces will be pre-equipped for wallbox charging on the grid side.
Up to twelve e-mobility stations with 46 AC charging stations and 8 DC charging stations as well as sharing offers for residents and visitors are planned. Up to 186 e-vehicles (54 e-cars, 66 e-bikes and 66 e-cargo bikes) will be available for use after this large-scale project has been completed.

Phase 2 - Implementing electromobility
The ground-breaking ceremony has taken place and the construction work is already in full swing. Implementing the charging infrastructure, including the delivery of up to 700 charging stations and 15 sharing mobility stations, including civil engineering and all electrical work, will be carried out by GP JOULE CONNECT over the next three to four years.
