On the site of a former gravel pit, GP JOULE, as general contractor for Clenergy Global Projects Hamburg, implemented a solar project in record time that can supply around 16,500 households with CO2-free electricity. Under an EPC contract (Engineering – Procurement – Construction)– GP JOULE was responsible for the entire planning process – from selecting and procuring components and awarding service provider contracts through to the entire construction. A wealth of practical experience in projects of this size enabled the rapid commissioning of the impressive solar park in Ganzlin, Ludwigslust-Parchim district.

"With GP JOULE we have a top team that delivers A 1 quality. The team has its focus on safety and reliably ensures compliance with the construction schedule - a truly professional cooperation in every respect."
GP JOULE ALWAYS THINKS IN A SOLUTION-ORIENTATED WAY
"It wasn't the price that was decisive for us," says Daniel Ruoss about the decision to tackle this megawatt project together with GP JOULE, and continues: "Rather, it was the high level of expertise as well as the experience that convinced us. GP JOULE always thinks in a solution-orientated way and has supported our possible changes of direction in a constructive and targeted manner." And even though the schedule was tight: "The GP JOULE team faced up to the challenge.”
In order to turn the pit into a construction site for Ganzlin Solar Park, Clenergy moved 1.1 million cubic metres of soil to level the area. In addition to this enormous substructure, the 165,000 solar cells installed and the substations required, the future-oriented solar project also includes a 25-kilometre medium-voltage line to the transformer station.
