With seven turbines and 16.8 MW of installed capacity, the Schimmendorf wind farm is the largest of its kind that GP JOULE has built in Bavaria. Its turbines were manufactured by the Rostock-based company Nordex.
As well as planning the project, GP JOULE also managed its construction under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract. We have also been responsible for technical management since the farm went on stream successfully in February 2017.
