GP JOULE flex is the first dynamic commercial electricity tariff listed on Verivox

Consuming electricity when supply is high and demand is low is something particularly attractive for companies with high energy requirements. With so-called dynamic electricity tariffs, they only ever pay the hourly exchange price. GP JOULE is now offering its dynamic green electricity tariff GP JOULE flex for commercial customers throughout Germany on the Verivox platform. It is the first electricity tariff of its kind to be listed on the comparison portal.

When solar or wind power plants produce a lot of electricity during particularly sunny or windy hours, the prices on the electricity exchange are very low. GP JOULE flex, the dynamic green electricity tariff for businesses, tracks events on the electricity exchange to the hour and passes the prices on to consumers. Consumers can see how the electricity price will trend the day beforehand and can then target their consumption to the hours with lower electricity costs.

GP JOULE flex also for small businesses

What makes it special: GP JOULE offers the dynamic tariff not only for large companies, but also for smaller businesses thanks to a smart metering system (iMSys). You save the usual hedging costs and regularly save up to 20 % on electricity costs - and remain flexible thanks to short notice periods.

"Thanks to the steady expansion of renewables, electricity is becoming increasingly cheaper. With dynamic electricity tariffs, this price advantage reaches consumers directly. Flexibility is rewarded and helps protect the climate at the same time," summarises Dr Fabian Sösemann.
