Sustainable heat for the town of Südliches Anhalt

At 12 events, the citizens of Südliches Anhalt can learn more about sustainable heat supply and get to know Renergiewerke Fuhne (“Re-energy plant) better. All are welcome to register, find out more and ask  questions.

Starting in Quellendorf, the entire town of Südliches Anhalt is to be gradually supplied with permanently affordable, sustainable and regional heat. To give all citizens the chance to find out about the planned local heat networks, get to know what is on offer and ask their questions, Renergiewerke Fuhne and GP JOULE are organising a total of 12 information events spread across the town of Südliches Anhalt:

• 22 May, 7 pm: Sports and Cultural Centre Weißandt-Gölzau, Hauptstr. 31b
• 23 May, 7 pm: Village community centre Hinsdorf, Parkstr. 1 a
• 24 May, 5 and 7 pm: Community Centre Libehna, Eichenweg 14
• 25 May, 5 and 7 pm: Sportlerheim Radegast, Am Sandberg 4
• 30 May, 5 pm: Village community centre Edderitz, John-Schehr-Str. 1
• 30 May, 7.30 pm: Clubhouse Görzig, Radegaster Str. 1
• 31 May, 5 and 7 pm: Village community centre Hohnsdorf, Dorfstr. 2
• 1 June, 5 and 7 pm: Hotel Stadt Gröbzig, Köthener Str. 15

Around 300 visitors attended the first two information evenings in Quellendorf at the beginning of May. "We were pleased about this and it showed that there is a lot of interest in a cheap and clean heat supply," says Felix Schwahn, Managing Director GP JOULE WÄRME: "That is why we are now inviting all citizens of Südliches Anhalt to find out about the planned local heating networks, to get to know what we offer and to ask questions."

Through a holistic concept of locally generated electricity from wind and photovoltaic plants, cheap heat is produced for the localities of Südliches Anhalt via industrial heat pumps. In this way, the added value remains in the region and the citizens benefit directly on site from a long-term affordable and secure heat supply: The heat price of 11 cents/kWh (incl. 7% VAT) is fixed for ten years and will remain unchanged. In addition, there are neither connection costs nor a monthly basic fee. Only the actual heat consumption is billed. There are also no maintenance and repair costs. These are taken over by Renergiewerke Fuhne.
